Once you have selected an agency, you will need to visit their website and document your observations. Please DO NOT visit these agencies in person. 
When visiting an agency’s website, you can: 
• Try and imagine you are a user or client of the service 
• Access their annual reports, strategic plans, and other documents/resources 
During your online visit, you should consider and make notes on the following: 
• Which agency did you visit? 
• Which local government area (LGA) is this agency located or do they service? (Some of these service state and national populations) 
• Describe the demographics of this LGA (or where appropriate state demographics, if looking at a national organization then you will need to look at the demographics of the population they service at a national level) 
• Identify the type of agency this is (e.g. government, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, charities, faith-based organizations, not-for-profit corporations, co-operatives and so on). 
• What are the aims and objectives or key priority areas of this agency? How do they relate to public health? 
• Consider affordability, accessibility, and availability of the services provided by the agency 
• Describe the services provided by the agency and how they relate to domains of public health practice e.g. prevention, promotion, protection, monitoring, surveillance. 
• Identify and explain how principles such as equity, social justice, consumer participation, stakeholders, social determinants of health, models of health care (biomedical, social, socio-ecological), primary health care/primary care/health promotion, partnerships are demonstrated (or not) in the agency. 
• How is the agency and its programs and activities funded?
