Assignment Task

The purpose of Assessment 3 is to examine the influence of research and innovation on professional capability and practice, specifically concerning areas of interest that emerged from your interviews and Essay. This Assessment should be used to follow up on any perceived knowledge gaps and areas requiring further research or quality improvement. 

For Assessment 3, you have 3 components to complete for this assessment. Please respond to the three short answer questions provided below. You may use headings.

Question

1. Related to an aspect of your Assessment 2 findings, develop a specific searchable question using the framework PICO: population, intervention, comparison, and outcome

2. Search for the highest levels of evidence you can find to answer your question. Select the three highest pieces of evidence found on the topic. Describe your search strategy and justify the three articles you have selected. For example, are they peer-reviewed, contemporary, and relevant to your clinical practice area? 

3. Choose one of your three articles and write an evaluative annotated bibliography.

Assessment requirements

• Place the reference for the source at the beginning of the annotated bibliography
• Summarise the main arguments, discussion points, or themes.
• Evaluate the source in terms of its quality, relevance, and conclusions.
• What are the source's strengths and weaknesses?
• How does the information provided in this source compare with others on the same topic?
• Comment on how effectively the source answers your question (Q1: PICO).
