Assessment instructions

  • This assessment will require you to set up a DCF for an investment property which is being considered and to analyse performance in comparison to an alternated investment.
  • The quiz when attempted will generate a scenario using random variables and can only be generated once. There are a total of 2 questions to complete. The quiz will show a third question but this question is to be used to submit your completed excel file. In the excel file you will find a 6th sheet which is named question 2.
  • In moodle you can leave the answer fields for question 1 and 2 blank.    
  • Should there be any problems uploading your file via moodle (and only then) the file should be emailed to your lecturer prior to Sunday mid-night.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the student to ensure that the correct and final file is uploaded. Student should also ensure that the file is not corrupt and that it can be opened and read when viewed by your lecturer.
  • Given that the quiz is open for 5 days, failure to complete the quiz in the allotted time will result in receiving ZERO (0) for this assessment.
  • If you have any issues with completing your quiz, let us know before Sunday so that the appropriate arrangements can be made.
