1. The start of a CAD drawing for the Plant Layout which is to include the following: 

a. Building columns consist of 10” x 10” H beams 20 ft. apart from their centerlines. They are the main structural supports for the plant. 

b. Create a drawing of the current process using the supplied sketch (Note: This does not include the conveyors) found at the end of this assignment document and position. Please see me if you have any questions regarding the sketch. Add also to the drawing: 

i. Inspection stations for the fasteners (LT & UT 55)

ii. Reject stations with bins (LT & UT 60)

iii. Operator positions (3 totals) and what operation they are performing. (Ref. the process drawing for clarification, it has all the details). 

2. Define and position the belt conveyors (assume all 3 are 10 ft. in length) needed for the line to support the manual loading operations (beginning and end of the line). Assume the automation to present the component to the equipment is adaptable to the conveyor system you choose. (Ref. the process drawing for their positions) 

3. Define the lift truck requirements and aisle widths needed through the development of your weight requirements (Found in the Project Information File). These are to be considered as your layout evolves.
