Case Study
A new refurbishment project was planned to add an extra 1,500 seats to a 23-year-old Sports Arena, bringing its capacity to 7,500. A retractable roof and new spectator facilities will also be added to the venue. This project is part of a $360 million larger project featuring eight new indoor courts, 13 outside courts, a plaza and a pedestrian link between the plaza and the arena. The project design team is a joint venture between ABC, a local consultancy firm, and ARC International Group. The client decided to host national games in this arena in 2028. Therefore, there will be no time extension for this project. The refurbishment project is agreed to be delivered in three stages.
