Project Methodology
In order to develop this project, the Agile Methodology has been adopted which is extensively known for its flexible and iterative nature that has assisted in breaking down the numerals process of the case study organization Cleaning Melbourne into prominent manageable components. The adoption of this particular project methodology has also held in constant improvement as well as adaptation across the overall project life cycle (Ali, 2023). Despite the presence of other alternative approaches such as action research or problem-solving cycles, the scope of these methods might not completely encompass the complexities of this particular project. On the other hand, formal methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Waterfall are too rigid for this particular project and require a high degree of collaboration as well as change. The Agile project methodology helps in offering an efficient as well as a dynamic framework in order to restructure the operations of Cleaning
Melbourne. The emphasis of this particular methodology on adaptability, irritative improvement as well as collaboration makes it well-suited in order to tackle complex projects that possess high levels of uncertainty (Alotaibi, Pardede & Tomy, 2023). By leveraging the Agile principles, a number of benefits have been achieved in the context of this particular project. For example, adaptability is one of the core principles of the Agile methodology that has significantly assisted in adjusting to unforeseen challenges as well as adapting the process based on real-time feedback leading to more sustainable and robust outcomes. This particular project methodology has also helped in reducing the risk associated with the project due to the iterative approach allowing early identification and effective medication of the project-associated risks. The application of the Agile principles in the context of the case study organization, Cleaning Melbourne for achieving operational excellence has been discussed in the following segment of this report (Saxena, 2024).
Sprints and Iteration
The overall project has been divided into iterative cycles referred to as "sprints" in which each of the sprints focuses on a particular set of deliverables (Aravindan & Kumar, 2023). This allows for focusing on the high-priority tasks within the pre-determined time frame. The iterative approach of the agile methodology is highly effective in ensuring continuous improvement as well as mitigating the risk associated with major course corrections in the overall project life cycle.
Cross-Functional teams
The Agile principles have also been established in the context of establishing cross-functional teams that comprise data analysts, IT personnel, operational managers and human resource specialists (Valdivia & Balcell, 2022). The diverse expertise pool helps in fostering collaboration and also ensures that each of the aspects of the project improvement is constantly addressed from multiple perspectives.
Transparency in Communication
Additionally, by focusing on the delivery of functional improvements within the shorter sprints, the adoption of the Agile methodology will allow the stakeholders of the case study organization, Cleaning Melbourne to review the benefits of restructuring in developing a sense of motivation as well as momentum for the ongoing collaboration (Wang et al., 2022).
