You have 3 hours to complete the exam and submit a zipped copy to the slate dropbox.  If you have not completed sections below, but would like to attempt partial marks, please submit a readme.txt file explaining which parts and where I can find the code.

You are required to build an application to manage the inventory for a pool supply company.  You will need to track the locations of the distribution centers, as well as the inventory at each location.

Part 1: (2 marks)

Create a Spring Boot project.  You will need Lombok, Spring Web, Thymeleaf, H2 database, and Spring Data JDBC as dependencies.  Make sure that the project is named Midterm_FirstName_LastName where FirstName is replaced with your first name, and LastName is replaced with your last name.  

You should have a root page which is mapped to localhost:8080.  Your home page should have a link to parts 2-8.  Each part should have a hyperlink back to your root page.

Part 2: (3 marks)

Pooly Pools has different stores.  Create a store bean that stores the following information:

• ID: Auto generated when added into the database

• Store Name (String)

You will need to create a table in an SQL file that is read when your program starts.  Create an Add Store page that will allow you to create new stores.  Generate 2 default stores in your SQL file.

Part 3: (3 marks)

Pooly Pools sells items pool equipment.  Create a PoolEquipment object that contains the following fields.

• ID: Auto generated when added into the database

• name (String)

• price (double)

• quantity (int)

In an SQL file, create a table for the equipment where columns match the fields.  Create 10 dummy records to be generated when the program starts.

Part 4: (3 marks)

Create an add equipment HTML page that will add equipment to the database.  After adding an item your program should return to the add equipment page.  

Part 5: (3 marks)

Modify part 3 so that you have an additional field for the store name that the item will be sold.  Modify part 4 so that the store name can be chosen using a <select> tag populated with options from the store names that exist in the table from part 2.

Part 6 (5 marks)

Display equipment by store.  You should have a page that allows you to view all the stores, and all of the equipment assigned to each store.  Each store should have its own table of equipment.  3 marks are awarded if you just display all items in an HTML page without sorting by store.

Part 7 (3 marks edit, 2 marks delete)

Modify part 6 so that each piece of equipment has an edit and delete hyperlink.  

Part 8 (6 marks - 2 marks each)

Create a search page that allows you to search equipment by:

• name

• quantity

• store name

Display all fields into a table for each piece of equipment.
