Your task is to “program” the self-driving car as shown in Figure 1 so it can drive itself to the destination (the green cell) in the shortest way and with the smallest number of instructions. The are 5 instructions that you can use to program the car: Fig 1. Program the car so it can reach its destination. PROG5001 – Fundamentals of Programming Assignment-1 2 • LEFT – the car will turn left • RIGHT – the car will turn right • DRIVE – the car will move forward 1 cell if the cell is empty • REVERSE– the car will move backward 1 cell if the cell is empty. • REPEAT #N – repeat the command following the REPEAT command N times or until the car hits an obstacle or hits the wall. The product backlog will contain all required information for the any software developers to develop the game. To complete this task, you have to: • identify all objects in the game. For each identified object, describe all properties and all behaviours (functions) that you think the object should have. If the object has its visualisation, you need to describe or visualize it too. • specify how the identified objects will interact with and impact each other as well as with the user (player). • describe the game rule, the winning and losing conditions.
