As the use of Social Networking Sites increases, psychological scientists are increasingly interested in examining the influences that they have on various types of well-being. Some research findings seem to suggest that Social Networking Sites are detrimental to individual well-being, while other researchers argue that there are benefits to Social Networking Sites that also need to be accounted for. In this assignment you are to discuss the current scientific evidence, and use it to draw an overall conclusion about the influences that Social Networking Sites may or may not have on well- being. In this assignment you will write an essay that discusses the research literature on if, how, and why Social Networking Sites affect well-being.
