Has made some attempt to tie things together, but may have not addressed the points deserving of a higher grade. 0 - 1 Mainly just repeating points already made in the essay.
Presentation, Expression, and References –
3-4 Perfect, or nearly so, both in-text and Reference list. Typed, double-spaced, sections start where they should (i.e., new page for references), paragraphs indented, no excessive quotes, word limit adhered to, expression fluent, no typos. Nice linking and own words were used. This is really only for H1 or H2A papers. 2-3 Pretty good, but not as fluent, occasional typo is OK. These would generally be H2B papers. Any of the following referencing issues would reduce them to this category: Poor in-text referencing, doesn’t use hanging indent; not alphabetical, journal title has no capital letters or is not in italics, place/publisher in some way incorrect. May have gone over word limit. 1 or less Pretty ordinary presentation for assorted reasons (mostly reaching none of the above expectations). Zero references, or no reference section. Has definitely gone over word limit.
