Structure

It is essential that your review paper is well organised and structured. As in all good review papers, a judicious use of subheadings would help the reader follow the essay plan. • Avoid presenting studies as if they have been reviewed when only Abstract available online.

• Avoid using non-academic/professional online websites.

• Make sure you cite from A>Z.

• Avoid overly long abstracts.

• Make sure you state aim of paper and justify the choice of disorders (if relevant).

• Avoid excessive use of rhetoric and use of personal pronouns.

• Avoid only listing research and models while not directly addressing the essay question or explaining how the material can be explained/understood.

• Watch expression and sentence length. Read your essay out loud to work out where a full stop and comma needs to go. Have your work proof read.
