Jean Piaget was one of the first researchers to investigate children’s thinking. His research led to many studies investigating the way that children think. One area of social cognition that has generated a lot of research is Theory of Mind because the development of theory of mind is a crucial milestone in human cognitive and social development.
Find a recent original research article (published 2020+) which investigates Theory of Mind in children. Please provide a summary of the article and explain how the theory is relevant to our current understanding of cognitive development in children.

Select ONE of the five following articles to review. Summarise the aim of the study and explain in your own words the key findings of the study. How might these findings be applied in an everyday context for someone working with children in this age group who are from diverse cultural backgrounds?
