Highlights
On the following pages, you will find the following sections:
• Research Question
• SPSS Analyses
• SPSS Output To complete this assessment, you will need to refer to the research question on the following page. Based on the research question, you will need to: (1) decide which statistical analyses should be performed, (2) describe how you would perform these analyses in SPSS, (3) select the SPSS output for the statistical analyses that you would perform, and (4) use this output to report the results and discuss the findings.
Please refer to the information below for a more detailed summary of how to complete each section of this assessment.
1. In the SPSS Analyses section below provide a summary of the analyses required to answer the research question. This should include a step-by-step summary of the procedural steps you would follow in SPSS to perform the SPSS analyses necessary to address the research question, including any necessary assumption testing for the one-way repeated measures ANOVA.
2. In the SPSS Output section below, you will find a number of tables providing SPSS output, these tables include the SPSS analyses required to answer the research question. In addition to this, are tables comprising output that is incorrect or redundant. Please review each of these tables of output and identify which tables include the output needed to address the research question. DELETE any tables that are redundant or incorrect and retain ONLY tables that contain essential output needed to check assumptions (for the one-way repeated measures ANOVA only) and report the results (i.e., descriptive statistics, inferential statistics).
3. After you have completed the SPSS Analyses and SPSS Output sections, write the results and discussion sections in which you report and interpret the results of the analyses. These sections must include the following:
a. Discussion of assumption testing for the one-way repeated measures ANOVA ONLY. For the purpose of this report, it is NOT necessary to discuss nor provide evidence of assumption testing for the simple linear regressions.
b. The descriptive statistics for subjective emotional experience for each emotion category (i.e., M, SD)
