Highlights
1. Using the data/variables in the PEW data set, develop a hypothesis that could be tested with a chi-square test of independence. In your hypothesis, make it clear exactly what pattern of results you expect to see and why.
2. Generate the frequency tables of the two (categorical) variables you chose as they occur in the data set
3. Recode the variables to remove 99s and combine/remove any groups that you need to before completing your analysis and then generate frequency tables of the recoded variables
4. Run the chi-square test of independence and include screenshots of the table showing your observed and expected frequencies (1), your chi-square test statistic (1), your effect size (1), and your clustered bar graph
5. Write up the result of the test, which should include:
