Highlights
Missing Data Analysis, Distribution and Assumption Checks, and Multiple Regression
This assignment aims to consolidate your knowledge of missing data analysis, approaches to variable distribution checks, and regression assumption checks and related adjustments. You are to analyse the data set and report the results of your findings. Your report should not exceed words by more than 10%; Your report will be assessed on (1) the quality of reporting and conducting appropriate analyses, (2) the quality of the reasoning/justifications you have provided for your choices, and (3) clarity of writing and brevity. More details about the assessment criteria can be found on the Course Blackboard.
What Factors Predict Covid-19 Related Self-Efficacy?
Background Information
A research group is interested in exploring factors that predict levels of Covid-19-related self-efficacy (belief in one’s ability to follow covid safe instructions, e.g., self-isolation, lockdowns, masks). A total of N = 944 individuals were recruited to participate in a computer-based survey study. Participants were asked to report their gender (male or female) and respond to items assessing the character traits of perseverance, teamwork, bravery, and self-regulation. The researchers considered all five variables to be potential predictors of Covid-19-related self-efficacy. The character strength items and Covid-19 Related Self-Efficacy were measured using a 25-point response scale where higher numbers indicate greater strength in the character trait and greater Covid-19 Related Self-Efficacy.
