• Option 1. Commercial property market in Sydney metropolitan area with focus on either retail or office market. 
• Option 2. Residential property market in Sydney metropolitan area with focus on either strata units or houses. 
The assignment must be presented in a professional report format. 
Your report must include table of contents and reference list (not counted towards word limit). 
The analysis should cover the critical examination and analysis of your selected property market in relation to the following as a minimum: 
• Macroeconomic environment;

• Microeconomic environment;

• Economic indicators;

• Property cycle analysis;

• Property market forecast;

• Critical analysis and commentary. 
All of the concepts in the list above should be addressed, but some of them may be more important for your particular property market. Feel free to focus your analysis more heavily on the issues that particularly impact your selected market niche. 
The maximum number of words for a 50% assessment is 2,500 (+/- 10%). 
Assignment should be submitted on or before the due date in both soft and hard copy. 
Assessments that are not submitted on the due date will attract a marking penalty of 5 per cent of the total marks for the assessment event for each day the assessment is late, to a maximum of 10 days, or a maximum of 50 per cent. Assessments submitted later than 10 days after the due date will not be marked unless the student has an approved extension or has successfully applied for special consideration.
