The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is a survey that was implemented in 1999, and monitors the state of the entrepreneurial mind-set, motivations, activities and ambition, and the national framework conditions required to allow entrepreneurship to operate in various economies.  There are 50 different economies that participated in the GEM 2019 Adult Population Survey (APS), including 11 from the Middle East & Africa, 8 from Asia & Pacific, 8 from Latin America & Caribbean, and 23 from Europe & North America. There were over 150,000 individuals participated in extended interviews as part of the GEM research in 2019.

1. In the 2019/2020 GEM Report identify the list of the GEM Indicators (pages 192-193), and in the 2018/2019 GEM Report identify the GEM Indicators (pages 138-139).  

2. Please select 3 GEM Indicators that feature a sample of data (in the tables in each report) that can be identified in both reports (2019/20 and 2018/19), assemble the required variables, and analyse the descriptive statistics to assess key areas of entrepreneurialism measured by the GEM survey.  Prepare as short report (with tables and narratives around the tables) for only the univariate analysis that would precede any multivariate analysis of your data file.  Please explain what you are measuring and what the results are illustrating.  You are to make explicit any assumptions you make in your analysis but outlining these assumptions.
