Queensland Crime Prevention Research Grants (QCPRG’s) are designed to support research activities that have the potential to make a substantive contribution to the prevention of crime in Queensland. Through grants of up to $10,000, the scheme seeks to build knowledge that can be ultimately be used to help organisations that work to improve public safety in Queensland.  

Eligibility

All research proposals must be submitted together with a selected partner organisation (Queensland Police Force, Queensland Fire Services or Community Organisations in Queensland). In order to qualify for funding, researchers must be able to explain why the research is important and how the findings of their proposed project will contribute to the work of their partner organisation. A committee will meet twice a year to decide which projects are of the highest quality and will receive funding.
