In our anticipation of creating a strong supply chain within our group of companies, we would like you to consider the suggestion raised in the Board meeting last week for Division B of Rare Lily to obtain another 25% of the supply of coconut sugar from Blue Eden so that both Blue Eden and Rare Lily will be able to utilize their full capacity. With this, we hope to further strengthen the financial position of the Group.

As one of the senior management accountants of Rare Lily Pte. Ltd., you are required to prepare a report of analysis as to whether it is the best interest of Rare Lily Pte. Ltd. and the group it Division B to purchase the coconut sugar from Blue Eden Sdn. Bhd. You need to show the impact on the net profit for both subsidiaries. (8 marks) 
In your report, include the evaluation of impact of transfer to the group profitability. (2 marks) 
(iii) Since Blue Eden is located in Malaysia, it's tax regime will be different from Rare Lily Pte. Ltd., hence highlight some issues to be considered relating to tax impacts for international transfer pricing. Include them as part of your analysis in the report. (5 marks) (Total: 15 marks)
