Its headquarters are situated at Vancouver, B.C. Initially, Telus was formed just to facilitate the privatization of (AGT) i.e. Alberta government telephones commission but later it become the main service provider of Alberta and then it merged with BCTEL and become the Canada’s largest Telcom company with 22% of market share.

The financial statements of both the companies from last five years are identified and they are quite different from each other at various points. The total revenue of last five years for rogers have arose to $15073 million which is very high as compared to Telus which stood at $14589 million. The operating expenses of last five years for rogers were approximately at $2488 million but Telus expenses are too high which accounts at $5587 million. The net income for rogers has aroused to $2043 million and Telus arouse to $1746 million which is lower as compare to rogers.
