This will touch upon the skills that you already felt comfortable with at the start of the module and the skills that you needed to develop. You will also discuss the tools, techniques and resources that you used to facilitate your academic development, and the impact this had on this Portfolio.

a) Description and Feelings 

Provide a brief description of your academic development, thoughts and feelings across the module. This could touch upon: 

The skills you initially felt comfortable with and which needed improving. The specific tools, techniques and resources you engaged with. · The impact this academic development had on your essay from Part A. 

b) Evaluation and Analysis

Offer some evaluation for what worked and what didn't work during your academic development. Try to be as truthful as possible - as there will always be positives and negatives to a situation and make sense of why some things worked better than others. This may consider: 

• What tools, techniques and resources were useful or not useful - and why?
• What challenges did you face when developing your skills - and why? ·
• What went well when writing your essay and what didn't go so well? and why?

c) Conclusion and Action Plan

You should briefly summarise your academic development so far and state what improvements are still needed for the future. You should also offer some actionable goals, which are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound (SMART goals).
