Using the company’s website and a wide range of relevant academic sources, you are required to prepare a 15 minute Group Presentation on your chosen company that should cover the following points:- Provide an introduction to the organisation
- Complete an analysis of its External Environment
- Evaluate the implications of this analysis and how it may impact upon the organisation and its industry
- Using the findings from your analysis of the External Environment, highlight the key management issues the company is experiencing
- Explain how effective planning by management can clarify the direction and motivate staff to achieve its objectives
- Analyse the culture and structure of the organisation
- Using this analysis explain the factors that appear to shape their approach to organising, highlighting any limitations
- Overall presentation quality, including slide presentation, teamwork and time management.
Group Management Report
Using the company’s website, a wide range of relevant academic sources and key materials from your group presentation, you are required to prepare a group management report that should cover the following points:- Provide an introduction to the organisation and, using your Findings from the Group presentation task, discuss how managing and leading the organisation depends on influencing. Consider the Models of Interpersonal Influence (Raven, 2008) or other key models showing why the ability to influence others is so central to the management role of your chosen organisation
