Betty works for NSW Transport at one of the large city-based bus depots. The depot that she works for services all busses in the downtown and near north Sydney suburbs. Her job is the repair the busses that come into the depot that have broken down or require maintenance. The pace of Betty’s job is quite fast, with upper level management expecting Betty to complete a list of complex cases each shift. All of the workers on Betty’s team work on rotating shifts – she is a full-time worker. She is often asked to stay over her shift to work overtime or do to a double shift to keep up with the work. Betty specialises in electrical faults, but she is qualified to diagnose and fix all parts of the bus. Recently, Betty sustained a rotator cuff tear while trying to remove a stuck bolt. She will be returning to work within a limited capacity in the next week and her supervisor is looking to figure out what tasks Betty will be able to complete. Qiang works for the Sydney Opera House keeping the performances going! His job encompasses working both during shows and in the set-up and tear-down of the show. Nadia lives in a region that receives considerably more rain than the national average and, and demand for her services has been high due to recent flooding and projected high rainfall in the next few weeks. Many of the houses in her area were built over 100 years ago, and drainage plans are often incomplete or unclear. Basements tend to be dirt-based. She has a full schedule and often works late nights and early mornings in order to meet her customers’ needs. Three days ago Nadia tripped at work and badly sprained her right ankle. She went to the Emergency Room, where doctors placed her in a moon boot and advised her to follow up with her GP for further instructions. What is the most likely job title for Nadia?
