Detailed brief:

The brief for the project is to investigate a physical phenomenon using analysis of multi-temporal remote sensing imagery. The brief is open for you to determine the focus of your study but you may be constrained by the imagery which is available both in terms of temporal, spatial, and spectral resolution. You will need to pick a phenomenon or process where you have a good idea of the time period over which change will have occurred so that you can locate imagery before and after the change you are trying to analyze. Some potentially interesting phenomena to study could include

• Urban development
• Deforestation
• Desertification
• Land use change
• Flooding/storm events
• Glacier advance/retreat
• Volcanic eruptions
