Assume that you are heading a research lab in the Research & Development department of your company. Your team is working on an innovative idea that can potentially add great value to your company. Recently, they had a breakthrough. This breakthrough can be on any product or technology. Be creative. It can be based on something real or something imaginary.

Choose ONE of the following:

1. Write an email to your manager, who is heading R&D highlighting the breakthrough and its impact on the company.

2. Write an email to the Head of Marketing and Sales about this breakthrough.

3. Write an email to your peers or team members discussing the breakthrough.

Reflection

Reflect on the different e-mails. What should you consider when writing each email. What differences would there be? Which would be the most difficult for you to write? Explain why?
