Question : Evaluate the effectiveness of Skilled Migration Program for Australia. Lecturer feedback: Just a few tips for the upcoming assessment item. Since you are writing about the same area of public/international policy as you did in assessment two, please take on the advice I provided. Assessment three asks you to cover some similar areas - identify question, literature review, explain your question's significance - but it also asks you to go beyond this and explain the scope of your study, research methodology etc. All of this is covered in some detail in the Assessment section of this course site so please consult this. Also please note that while you will cover some similar material, I do not want you to simply copy and paste what you did in assessment two. For instance, you need to go further in your literature review, perhaps identifying some important sub-literatures that you will consult. These literatures may not be directly related to your question but they help add context and depth. Also, make sure you set this assessment up in a concise fashion. In your introductions, you should cite the problem you propose to investigate and then give the reader a sense of the significance of your project. You need to be sharp in your analysis here. Then you can proceed to the literature review and the research methodology sections.
