Highlights
Introduction
Materials and Methods- In past tense, no bullet points use sentences. Results- provide your results with any figs and tables with a fully descriptive tile and labels. The results should not just be dumped into the report but include a brief explanation of the experiments although not as detailed as the methods. Discussion- a short discussion of your results, why it may not have worked, and what you could do to improve it.
Discussion
Discuss your write-up objectively in terms of the results YOU achieved. Comment on the methods and try to draw on other methods that may have improved the protocol or success of the experiment. However, do not dwell on areas that might have gone wrong if you did not actually record anything going wrong. Relate what you did during the practicals to the results you obtained.
