• Will you or the tutor read some/all of my report? 

– No – it would not be fair to the other students. But please do ask questions! Work out what you’re not sure about and we can talk through it. We just won’t read sections and ‘tell you if you’re right’ so don’t ask! 

• How do I make a graph for the report?

– Most students haven’t! The best thing to do is just get started and work through the sections step by step and ask for help if you get confused. Use the marking criteria to understand how marks will be allocated.

– Right-click on the table, copy and then paste it into a 

Word document. Do this for all the relevant output you have used in your report. 

• I can’t find any research articles! 

– Remember the articles you need to review are about the 

same topic – what have people done in this area before – they don’t need to be looking at exactly the same question/same population. Looking for articles is time-consuming, but you will get better at it with practice. The library provides many resources to help with how to search the literature.
