Research Proposal Assignment:
Democracy is a national priority that emerges in various education policies. In research already done, it seems that teachers conceptual understanding (their knowledge, perceptions and values) of democracy, is an unexplored field. One can reason from the standpoint that a teacher's conceptual understanding of democracy, will have an effect on at least one of the following aspects: the manner in which their teaching-learning activities drawing up, how their classroom discipline is maintained, and how their knowledge about and for democracy will be transferred to learners.
