Instead some answers just described models and their benefits. Some just described risk management in general and didn't relate their comments to the use of models.
Quite a few assignments contained the same basic material from the recommended text book and just used the (rather old) examples contained in the book. As such, there was little or no recognition given to the recent financial crisis and the subsequent material written regarding risk models.
Some answers confused business models and risk management models. A business model' describes how an organisation goes about its business - for example an internet only based business model. Consequently, some irrelevant material was included in some answers
Very little or no use of references.
Part B
Again, some of the answers didn’t address the question directly and contained too much description or irrelevant material.
Some answers lacked a coherent structure and didn't link in very well to part a.
Some answers were very short and/or made little or no use of references and examples to help improve the explanations.
Again, some answers were over-reliant on the material contained in the recommended text. Sometimes this material was just included as a list without any explanation.
