The plastic moulding process of Rotational Moulding is the focus of AT1. Students are required to design and create a model that is capable of being produced using
Rotational Moulding. Students will need to familiarise themselves with the process and its subtleties and by the submission date they will have gained a through understanding of the process. You are required to submit:
1. Solidworks Part files
2. Solidworks Assembly file
3. Digital scans of hand sketches
4. 2D Technical Documentation (Solidworks drawings, PDF, DXF exports)
5. A short PDF document (4 pages max.) with a summary of manufacturing details such as Draft, Parting lines Etc. Screen captures with subtitles are ideal for this item.
