This is a critical reflection ,is a short essay that draws on own experiences as evidence. In this critical reflection, experience must not just be described; it should be critically explored and interrogated, guided by the concepts and frameworks provided in the assigned readings. This critical reflection (short essay) is thus a capstone assessment of your understanding the process of interdisciplinarity and your understanding of some of the key concepts and frameworks that can support this process. the critical reflection will provide an analysis of your journey from a discipline-based perspective to interdisciplinary collaboration in the context of your Case Study group work (case study is boys and feminsim teaching in schools). Your response must substantially discuss at least 2 readings from the unit's reading list(listed below) Be clearly organised, with a logical structure and coherent flow of ideas. A strong introduction (that lays out the direction of the reflection), clearly defined paragraphs, and a conclusion are appropriate. Subsections might be appropriate. Employ analysis and argument, rather than just description. Instead of just describing your experiences, you should analyse them, and explain how they are meaningful & significant. How do they exemplify, uphold, challenge or extend the concepts and frameworks from this unit? How do the concepts help you understand your experience? Tensions and ?failures? are good opportunities for reflection! Understanding how and why interdisciplinarity sometimes doesn't succeed is just as important as understanding how and why it does. We also know that your collaborations this year have been constrained due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You may choose to discuss how the move away from classroom-based face-to-face teaching has affected your collaboration in terms of the concepts and frameworks offered by the readings. Beware of approaching this as an opportunity to just complain or let off steam.' Instead, use this assignment to rigorously analyse the unfolding results of your group project, using intellectual resources from the unit as your guide.
CRITERIA WEIGHTING
1. Clear and sophisticated understanding of relevant issues raised in at least 2 unit readings (e.g. concepts, frameworks) and at least 1unit theme /30 2. Clear and sophisticated use of examples from your own case study collaboration as evidence of key points, concepts, and issues suggested in the readings. /30

Evidence of developing understanding of how to work effectively across disciplinary boundaries, i.e. moving beyond simple description of your experience to critically reflect more broadly on how, why, and under what circumstances interdisciplinary collaboration can be effective (or not). /30 6.
