Sally saw the following advertisements in the newspapers yesterday:
a. “OFFER FOR SALE! Two for the price of one! Buy one bottle of Smooth and Silky shampoo (700ml) for RM29.90 and get the next bottle (700ml) FREE! While stocks last, terms and conditions apply”.

Sally quickly went to Watsons Pharmacy to buy the shampoo. She saw the shampoo displayed on the shelf with the same ‘offer’. She took two (2) bottles of the shampoo and went to the counter, expecting to pay RM29.90 only. However, the cashier told her she had to pay RM29.90 for each bottle. Sally is confused. She thought since there was an offer, all she had to do was accept the offer. She seeks your advice whether the cashier can just simply revoke the ‘offer’ they had made.

b. “BEST JOB OFFER! Are you a business graduate with at least two (2) years’ experience in sales and marketing? We OFFER minimum salary of RM3000 a month, flexible hours, medical and dental benefits and contractual bonus of at least 2 months. If you are interested, please call 03 – 79552255 for an interview”. Sally is a business graduate and she has five (5) years’ experience in sales and marketing. She wonders if she should call and accept the above job offer.
