 I had appointment with Ali today, first I welcomed Ali and then I explained confidentiality and all services and supports he can get from our organisation such as Counselling session and follow ups.

I mentioned him that we provide free sport session and he was happy to enrol for the sport. Also, I gave him my details, my number, email so if he needs any help between sessions or has question he can contact me.

I was nervous and stressed and forgot to provide some information to him, as first experience for me it was stressful and hadn’t enough confidence that’s why I missed some information to mention, such as, get more information about his relationship with his parent or his siblings but definitely I will improve it and for the next time I will ask all questions and provide all information relevant to his situation.

I will aware him from my responsibility and his responsibility and all services we can provide and make sure that follow the instruction and ask the right question in right place and right time Then I will ask him for his goals and how he want to achieve them, and how he can complaint and their right for that. I will Ask him for his next steps and collaborate during session to achieve to best result such as attend to sessions and participate in any discussion he need to do.

I will help him with his relationship to his friends if needed and support and talk to his friends if he like to. Also, I will mention him that he can attend to counselling session and discuss with them and get some help and support. I will Discuss about his confidence and I will refer him to any services if he needs. 

As conclusion part I can say, I almost did my job good and I can see myself in right pathway just need more practice and be more confidence and I have to provide the right services in right time according to his situation.
