Finally, they will submit one argument for their side of the argument.Speaker 1 (Negative): Does not need to present the topic, unless the Positive team failed to do so. They will need to introduce their team, and briefly summarizes each speakers points. And finally, they will rebut the first speakers positive point, and present one introductory point for their own side.Speaker 2 (both sides): Rebuts any important point the other team has made. But do not allow this to take up too much time, as you will need to introduce your own 2 new points, making sure that they are supported with facts.Speaker 3 (both sides): Like speaker 2, making sure again to rebut the points previously mentioned, and introduce 2 new points. Speaker 3 can also introduce a final statement, enforcing what has been stating, and emphasizing why your team is right.(if your team only has 2 members, then they would follow the same rules as speaker 1 and 3 (introduction, points, conclusion/summary).Do Not Forget! We are recording your debate via Zoom, so please make sure to work with both sides of your argument to find a time when we can record (if you decide to do outside of class time), and that each team member is able to present their arguments via Zoom with minimal issues (no drop-outs, background sounds, etc). I know this will be hard to do, but will just be for an hour of your time and will help your team to succeed and for me to hear what you have to say when it is submitted.Speaking Notes Word Limit: 200-300 (1 page)Your speaking notes will only include what you will present during your portion of the debate, not what you will rebut.
