Assignment Task

1. Create the five control charts from the attached ImR_Dataset_Control_Charts file.

2. I labeled the control charts tabs to match the Chart Data tabs (e.g., Chart Data 1 would be paired with the created chart in tab Chart 1).

3. After selecting the appropriate control chart type in SigmaXL, I selected (checked) the tests for special causes and sigma zone lines.

4. I typed an appropriate title for each chart that identified the data source.

5. I analyzed the I charts (Upper) using the included special causes table below the mR chart.

6. I analyzed the mR charts and noted if the data lacked granularity (“chunky”) or there were points above the URL indicating special cause variation

7. My explanations included a statement that “the process data is in control and stable” or it is “out of control and unstable.” I noted if there were significant high or low scores, trends, or data shifts above or below the mean.

8. Paste all both (I and mR) parts of your control charts into a Word document and include a title at the top. Type your explanations after each table. Submit this doc as your assignment.
