Part A: Students will then work as a group to deliver a comprehensive plan that supports the older person’s continued wellbeing in their community setting. Students will present their findings to the class in workshop three as a group presentation.
The oral presentation will be person-centred and applied to your selected older person’s case, and include:

•  What this person finds enjoyable/meaningful in their routine? How this contributes to their healthy ageing?
•  A description of physical (including pathophysiological), mental and psychosocial issues mentioned by the older person, as well as any additional holistic nursing assessments to be considered

•  Evidenced-based management strategies that target identified concerns to improve quality of life or maintain continued wellbeing
•  Demonstrate a clear, reflexive application of two principles from the UN’s ‘Principles for Older Persons’ linked to your selected person’s case
•  Develop a person centred management plan that is evidence-based, and best supports this person’s preferences, given their geographical location and socioeconomic circumstance, that enables them to remain connected to health services and their community.
