She needs to calculate the volume flow rate of waterfalls from three measurements: width (m), depth(m) and water speed(m/s) of the waterfall. She has asked you to make a program which prompts her for the depth, width and water speed of the waterfall and outputs the volume flow rate (litres/second). This question requires error checking to determine if any of the inputs are below zero. The equation used to determine volume flow rate is;

A mechanical engineering student is having trouble calculating the height of a building. To measure this, the student plants to drop an object and measure the time it will take to hit the ground. The student has one constant, the acceleration (a) the object will experience which is 9.8 m/s^2 due to gravity. The student wants a program which prompts the user for 2 variables: the time (t) it takes the object to fall and hit the ground, and the initial velocity of the falling object (u). The program requires error checking to determine if the time input is not zero or below. Once inputted the program needs to calculate the distance from the dropping position to the ground (x), assuming there is no wind resistance. Use the following equation to calculate this;
