This assessment has 2 parts Part A (25%) Undertake a creative reflection of your values and beliefs on caring for others as a nurse (We will be exploring your values and beliefs on caring for yourself in Workshop 1 as a creative activity and you may like to use this to reflect further on caring for others). Consider how your values on the caring impact on your ability to be authentic in your practice. This creative reflection is to be presented in the form of a visual representation using the shield template which is included in the Assessment 1 folder on Moodle. Upload your creative shield and participate in the discussion forum with a short overview of your creative work describing how the picture represents your values and beliefs on caring (100 words). You are also required to respond to (at least) one other post with supportive comments on what you liked, what resonated with your own personal philosophy or with questions to elicit further information if something is unclear. Part B (75%) Write 1,000 words critically reflecting on how your values and beliefs on caring have impacted your work (past) and will impact your work (future). Drawing on relevant research, consider the significance of human-to-human connection in the health care environment and share a story where you made a difference to someone you were caring for.
