Mr Mathew Matisse is a year-old male who lives at home with his wife and three children. Mr Matisse works as a sales representative and enjoys golf in his spare time. Mr Matisse has been admitted to the general medical ward due to a three-day history of fevers, increased dyspnoea, fatigue, and increased sputum production.

Patient History

• COPD - 30-year pack-a-day smoking history and has required frequent Hospital Admissions.
• Hypertension and a previous deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
• Medications:
• Serevent inhaler 50 mcg
• Ventolin inhaler as needed.

Clinical Presentation

Upon entering Mr. Matisse's room, you find him sitting on the edge of the bed, leaning on the tray table. I .. can't... breathe. You take Mr Matisse's vital signs as documented on the SAGO chart.
