Questions 1: This assignment requires you to work in pairs and role play an interview between two health practitioners. Each student will play both roles. Practitioner (A) is the owner of his/her own successful natural health clinic and is looking for a new practitioner (B) to work in the practice. See the Job Description below. “A” must take time to formulate the type of questions which will help him/her choose the appropriate candidate. Practitioner B will need to spend some time reflecting on the requirements to prepare for the interview. It will be assumed that the applicant has the necessary professional qualifications for the position. Each interview should last about 5 minutes and you will be required to submit the transcript of this interview for your assessment. It is recommended that you firstly, record your interview using Skype and YouTube. Upload your video (you can cover the camera if you wish to use audio only) into your own YouTube account as unlisted - then paste this URL link into the Assignment submission YouTube area, for further help click on How to submit Videos Once you have recorded your interview you will need to write the transcript and upload this to the LMS. A transcript is a written ‘word by word’ version of the material you presented in your recording. It is presented like a script so you will need to capture the conversation between practitioner A and practitioner B. You will need to listen to your recording and then write it all down. Please ensure you include both the questions and your responses in the transcript and mark them respectively: A for the Interviewer and B for the Interviewee. Questions 2: This assessment allows you to write your own personal reflection on the recorded interview assessment. Listen to it again and reflect:

• How was the process of doing this assessment?
• What was new or interesting or challenging?
• How has this contributed to your understanding of the literature/theory?

While it is a personal reflection, there are several parameters that need to be followed. The following areas need to be covered: 1. Interpersonal skills and the therapeutic relationship 2. Self-awareness. This should include areas of potential development and growth. 3. Awareness of and skills in mindfulness OR self-care skills
