Be sure to use, define, and apply course vocabulary from Week 10 of the course as you answer the questions.

Think of a time when you were influenced by a group of individuals (this can be friends, family, coworkers, peers, advertisers, etc.). Examples include, but are not limited to: your beliefs and values, expensive purchases you made, how to act in certain situations, bad choices you regret, lifestyle choices, etc.
 
Answer the following questions as they relate to your chosen example in B. 

• Describe the situation in detail including background factors, the people involved, the setting, and the outcome. (1 paragraph)
• Identify, define, and give a different example of the persuasion technique(s) used in your situation from #1. Explain why the technique(s) were effective. (1-2 paragraphs)
• Assess the lessons you learned about group influence from this situation and how the lessons will affect the choices you make in the future. Describe the advice you would give to someone else who found themselves in a similar situation as you did in 1. (1 paragraph)
