2.1 You must develop a GUI for the Watt’s Law Calculator program.

The GUI above shows the WPF controls that must be on the form and their names. You must also look at the video S1P2.mp4 on eThuto to see how the GUI must look and operate.

In MainWindow.xaml.cs, add the following code from the memo of S1P2:

• delegate float WattsLawDelegate(float val1, float val2);

• the three calc methods; remember: these methods can no longer be static

The values for cboCalcType must be populated in MainWindow.xaml using XAML code. After the MainWindow has loaded, the SelectedIndex of cboCalcType must be set to 0. Also, MainWindow must start centered on the screen and you must set the appropriate property to achieve this.

The Close menu item functionality must be implemented using routed commands.

cboCalcType:

• when the user selects an option from the combobox, the GUI must change accordingly (see the video)

• the SelectedIndex of cboCalcType must be evaluated with a switch to determine which calculation was selected by the user

btnClear:

• when the user clicks on this button, the appropriate text boxes must be cleared and the SelectedIndex of cboCalcType must be set to 0 (see the video)

btnCalculate:

• when the user clicks on this button, the SelectedIndex of cboCalcType must be evaluated with a switch to determine which calculation was selected by the user

• as with S1P2, the delegate must only be executed once
