Internal Code: 1AJJEJ Tasks: Q# 1 IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGIES There are lots of methodologies, which one is better depends on the nature of a project. The purpose of these methodologies is to exploit the use of resources and time. Agile is a recognizable and short development cycle called Print, initially developed for software development, but now a day’s many industries have adopted this method while developing his product because of efficient nature (Runeson, 2009, p. 74). According to the (Adrialdo,2017, p.4) “A value-driven approach, which helps the project manager to carry high priority high-quality work “ The Agile Project Management(APM) methodology compose of 12 key principles and 4 elementary principles. Traditionally agile project management is classified into two main frameworks i.e. Scrum and Kanban. Scrum is a framework of APM use an environment where numbers of iterations are fixed known is sprints. Scrum is further divided into two backlogs one is product backlog contains a prioritized list of features and other is sprint backlog having issues from the top of the product backlog. Kanban is also a framework for APM, the purpose of the Kanban framework is to meet the work with team capacity. The Kanban framework is faster than the scum with no backlog like scrum. Kanban uses a board to visualize the work that has completed. The board used in Kanban framework is aloes used to manage the resources of the project according to the given timeline(Xueling Shu,2010,p.41). According to the (Runeson, 2009, p. 74) there is lots of advantage of the agile project management methodology is the fastest solution for product development with fast turned around time, flexible and robust nature. The Agile management methodology is debugged fast, easily focus on the customer demands and impede the resource wastage during the product development process. But it quite difficult to measure the progress because there is no clear end. Normally there is a lack of established methods of project management in medium or large sized enterprise environment to overcome these problems i.e. fast delivery, succeeding incremental changes through a various number of iteration agile project management is implemented(Xueling Shu,2010,p.41). If we study the use of Agile Project Management(APM) in different companies it reflects that 52 % IT company use for software and IT purpose marketing 11% for marketing and advertisement 5% for construction, architecture and project development,4% for finance ,2% for education and event planing and 13 % for other purpose.A construction company making a flyover ,according to APM the whole process is divided in 6 steps (1) Constructing one way temporary road along the site where where flyover is constructed. (2) starting One way flyover (3)When one way flyover is completed should open for the traffic (4)Now start the construction of second direction flyover (5)After finishing the 2nd direction flyover should open for traffic (6)close the temporary road along the site (Hitesh Mohapatra,2017) Q# 2.
