Assignment Task 

Purpose 

The purpose of this task is to enhance and assess students’ skills in analyzing construction documents and interpreting compliance, regulatory requirements, and minimum standards for the construction of a range of building types. This assessment task addresses the following unit learning outcomes for this unit.

Task

1. Define the new codes, regulations, and local requirements for the new retrofitted multi-use building project that applies to achieving compliance for the building.

2. Provide a stakeholder map for the new retrofitted multi-use building project with explanatory commentary on the stages each stakeholder is involved in.

3. Provide a program of retrofitted multi-use-building project works that visually map out the key milestones of a project. Identify the necessary logical sequence of stages of the project including the main trades in a logical order.

4. Prepare checklists of the types of classifications of the new retrofitted mutli-use building project. Identify the relevant BCA applicable to the classes of the building choosing Three of the following:
