In this poster, the student must provide evidence of the correct use of adequate analytic tools and concepts from the module to evaluate the chosen firm’s internationalization process and international strategy. Students need to identify a number of critical international business challenges (inc. opportunities) for their chosen organisation. 

To do so students could consider focusing on the following (the lists is not exhaustive and is only used as a means to illustrate potential directions for component 1):

• The evolution of their internationalization process/model and notes on their current expansion plans;
• Strategic analysis of the industry (or chosen industry if operating in more than one) the organisation operates in (worldwide and/or regional);
• Identify current motivations, drivers and barriers to explore international markets;
• Identify potential new destination(s) for future expansion.

General Formatting rules:

• This assessment is worth 30% of the marks for the module;
• Individual work;
• You must submit your assessment electronically on My Beckett using the Turnitin icon;
• The poster must be constructed in A2 size;
• You MUST adopt an analytical approach supported by strong use of data;

Prepare a plan for the future international (or global) strategy for your chosen organisation and that responds to one chosen challenge (or opportunity) supported by research, data collection and analysis

Students could adopt a number of different approaches but are advised to develop a critical argument in-depth and detail supported by qualitative and quantitative analysis and strong use of evidence.  Students may include in their analysis:

• Clear justification of the destination country/ market
• Technical assessment of culture, logistics, local market conditions, finances and risk
• Technical advice about the entry mode with clear and detailed instructions for its implementation & evaluation

Students could adopt a number of different approaches but are advised to develop a critical argument in-depth and detail; preferably supported by qualitative and quantitative analysis and strong use of evidence.  Students should consider the following:

• Developing an individual report with a critical theoretical review component included in it;
