When company encounter with challenges in their supply chain, such as inventory over loading, low profit, higher cost, and poor customer service; it’s essential to review SC strategy model in order to identify barriers. Also, in developing new products SC strategy aid company in terms of finding challenges and opportunity.in this article, Lee, H review product categorization effect on supply and demand uncertainties, furthermore develop uncertainties framework to plan a suitable supply chain strategy. In the other study conducted by Li, D, & O’Brien, took a quantitative mathematical path and in the conceptual mode, products are classified into two categories, functional products and innovative products. Then, SC strategies are classified into a physically efficient process to ‘supply predictable demand efficiently at the lowest possible cost’, and a market-responsive process to provide quickly response to unpredictable demands (Li, D, 2001). By this methodology this article presents model for supply chain interaction with operational process based on three different SC strategies (MTO, MFS and MTS).
