Your task: Imagine that you are the Chief Supply Chain Officer for an organization of your choice and you are tasked with writing a report for presentation to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board. Using the concepts, tools and frameworks that you have learned on the module, write a report (4,000 words including title page and contents list but excluding tables, figures and appendices) in which you critically evaluate the current competitive and supply chain strategies and design of the organization and potential future alternatives. For the organization that you have chosen:

• assess how effectively the organization that you have chosen achieves strategic fit and alignment
• analyse how the organization creates competitive advantage through its competitive and supply chain strategies
• review how well the organization’s supply chain strategy and design support each other and are executed
• recommend what the future organizational and supply chain strategies should be and provide justification for your recommendation.
