To be in this field, you must focus on the possible results, respect for their culture, invest time and resources into community sessions, apply a strengths-based approach and support Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff. Having an initiative is important when you are facing a specific issue or problem that needs coordination across organizations and it must be “fit-for- purpose.” On the other hand, some of the barriers in this field is that the lack of skilled program leaders, practitioners and staff, unwilling to take a risk culture, strict organisational structures or service delivery models, a universal decision that did not consider local diversity, programs that does not have a clear set of roles and responsibilities. Red Cross stands for saving lives and giving them support before and after the disaster strikes. They work to lessen the one who suffers from wars and conflict and promote the laws of war. They work to assist the most defenseless community members. They are working with policy-makers, organization, politicians and the public to improve the situation of the most vulnerable people not just in Australia but also around the world.
