How well does Z serve as a proxy for D? Z is a reasonable proxy for D, but it isn’t perfect; it is probable that big ten schools began to dabble in the no-tackle movement (after hearing the ivies did it) without explicitly announcing it. What is Post? “Post” is after Ivy League Schools made the announcement (Post=1). “Pre” is before Ivy League Schools made the announcement (Post=0).
